New Year's Eve?
So I'm a little early, but I have to have a lot of things planned out in advance. At the moment, I'm trying to decide how long to stay in Michigan for Christmas. The best part is that the company pays for this trip. At issue is whether to spend New Year's Eve in the U.S. or back here in Germany. Last year was a bit of a dud - ok, it was a major dud - so I wouldn't mind doing something a little more exciting this time around, either in the U.S. or Germany. But I'm sure nobody else has given it any thought yet, so I'll probably just have to pick one and zero in on a plan later.

Oh, wait, I have a 2 year old, I don't get to party anymore~!
Hmm...Changing diapers at the stroke of midnight - That might be an appropriate way to ring in the new year. Just think of the symbolism in that... doing away with any lingering crap of 2006, starting fresh for 2007...

I'm not offering any excitement, but I hope I get to see you at some point over the Christmas holiday. I'm planning to be back 12/22-1/1, but we'll see if my boss agrees ;-)
